Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GuardLine Pest Management (ABN 51 600 637 070, Licence No. 5087400) ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal information when you contact us or use our website at guardline.com.au. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Information we collect

We only collect information we need to answer your enquiry and provide our pest control services:

• Information you give us — when you submit our booking form, call, or email us: your name, phone number, email address, suburb, and any details you provide about your pest problem.
• Information collected automatically — when you visit our website: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and provide a quote.
• To arrange, carry out and follow up on pest control services.
• To contact you about your booking or request.
• To understand how our website is used and to improve it.
• To measure the performance of our advertising.

We do not use your information for any unrelated purpose without your consent.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Our website uses cookies and third-party tools to understand traffic and measure our advertising:

• Google Analytics — reports on how visitors use our site (pages viewed, time on site, general location). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us.
• Google Ads — when you arrive from one of our Google ads, a conversion cookie helps us see which ads lead to enquiries. We may use Google's enhanced conversions feature, which sends Google a securely hashed (irreversibly encoded) form of your email address so a conversion can be matched to an ad click. We never send Google your details in a readable form for this purpose.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and manage ad personalisation in your Google Ad Settings. Google's own handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Disclosure of your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share it only:

• With trusted service providers who help us run our business and website (for example, our website host and the analytics and advertising providers named above), who are bound to protect your information.
• Where required or authorised by law.

Data retention

We keep your personal information only as long as needed to provide our services, meet our legal and record-keeping obligations, and resolve any disputes. When it is no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. Please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Your rights

You may ask us to access the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it if it is inaccurate. To do so, contact us using the details below. If you have a privacy concern or complaint, contact us first — if you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Third-party links

Our website may link to other sites (such as our Google Business Profile). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its "last updated" date.
